Trigger Point Dry Needling (TDN), also known as Intramuscular Manual Therapy (IMT), addresses myofascial trigger points (TPs) that may give rise to pain, spasm and tenderness within muscle. This can present as local pain or referred in a pattern. Our trained clinicians have been through a coursework and examination process that supports competency, skill and safety in use of dry needles. The State of Colorado includes TDN/IMT in the Physical Therapy Practice Act, allowing us to provide and bill for this specialized care as an adjunct to our other treatment approaches. |
